Two heads are better than one, can’t see the woods for the trees, a problem shared is a problem halved….there are lots of clichés out there which amount to the same thing: we all need help sometimes. Whether you’re launching or strategising, expanding or diversifying, running a business can be a lonely, overwhelming and frustrating experience.
On Wednesday 11th February, InsightLab launched its first Pop-up Business Cafe, kicking off with Leicester’s Marriott Hotel for the first event. The idea is that a business registers for a free slot with Inzar Haq, Zakera Kali and Natalie Cheary, a team of consultants from Insight Consultancy whose collective experience cover many of the essential bases for running a business: legalisation, branding, marketing, SMO and forecasting, to name a few. In a climate where business advice and consultancy can be expensive and overwhelming, an opportunity to sit down with three business minds over a latte and brainstorm the challenges that can hold a business back is priceless.
The results were evident – business owners left energised with ideas, each specific challenge having been brought to the (coffee) table pulled apart and looked at from a number of angles. And out of that process came solutions and strategies.
The idea of the Pop-up Business Cafe was born out of the power of brainstorming a problem with objective experts. When the problem seems to loom over a business without an obvious solution, the clarity and perspective experienced minds can bring to the table is a gift. Which is why InsightLab is offering it to businesses in Leicester. It may be the gift of a path through the woods they just hadn’t noticed. It’s all those trees, you see.
Sign up to the newsletter to find out when the next Pop-up Business Cafe will be running . Each 30 minute slot is free* but places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment when you get the dates.
*Any company can attend up to two workshops/business cafes for free, with additional workshops/business cafe appointments charged at £50 per head. There is a limit to one attendee per company per workshop or £50 if more than one (unless spaces are available).
